Lighting Questions

Can you add recessed lights without opening up my ceiling?
In most cases yes — we use LED wafer/disk lights that install through a small hole and require no housing box above the ceiling. If you have attic access, we can often run wiring with minimal drywall work. We’ll assess during the free estimate visit and give you an honest picture of what’s involved.
Do smart dimmers require a neutral wire?
Most modern smart dimmers require a neutral wire at the switch location — something many older homes lack. We assess your existing wiring during the estimate and can run a neutral where needed. We also stock no-neutral compatible dimmers for locations where running wire isn’t practical.
Do you supply the fixtures or do I provide them?
Either works. We can supply fixtures from our preferred suppliers, or you can purchase fixtures you’ve selected and we’ll install them. If you supply fixtures, just make sure they’re rated for the installation location (wet/damp rated for outdoor use).
