One Crew. Every Wire in Your Home.

Most homeowners call an electrician for circuits and an AV company for everything else. ElectriciansX does both — and that integration matters. When we’re already in your walls running circuits, we can simultaneously run your Cat6 data drops, speaker wiring, TV mount power, and low voltage cabling in the same visit. No second crew, no scheduling gaps, no surface-mount raceways as an afterthought.

We install complete smart home and AV systems from the ground up — hardwired Ethernet networks, wireless mesh systems, Lutron whole-home lighting control, home theater rooms, TV mounting with concealed wiring, whole-house audio, and professionally installed landscape lighting. Every low voltage project is done cleanly, with proper cable management, labeled terminations, and no loose wires hanging out of walls.

We serve Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Lehigh Acres, and all of Southwest Florida.

Wired & Wireless Networking

A properly designed network is the backbone of a modern smart home. We install hardwired infrastructure and pair it with enterprise-grade wireless systems that eliminate dead zones.

Structured Cat6 & Cat6A Cabling

We run Cat6 (1Gbps) or Cat6A (10Gbps) from a central distribution point to every room, home office, theater room, and AV location in your home. All runs are terminated in a patch panel at your network closet and labeled — giving you a clean, professional installation that any network technician can easily service. Ideal for Cape Coral and Fort Myers new construction, major remodels, and additions.

Wireless Mesh Network Systems

Wi-Fi dead zones are a wiring problem, not a router problem. We install and hardwire enterprise-grade mesh systems — Eero Pro 6E, Ubiquiti UniFi, and Netgear Orbi Pro — using your existing or newly run Cat6 backbone. Each access point is PoE-powered and wired, not plugged into a wall outlet, which eliminates Wi-Fi interference and keeps speeds consistent in every room and on every lanai and patio.

Network Closet & Patch Panel Setup

A structured media center or dedicated network closet organizes your router, switch, patch panel, and NVR into a clean, manageable system. We install surface-mount or recessed media enclosures, label every cable, and test every run before closing walls — giving you an installation you can actually troubleshoot and expand later without guessing which unlabeled wire goes where.

Whole-Home & Multi-Unit Data

Whether you’re wiring a single-family home in Fort Myers or a multi-unit property in Naples, we design and install structured cabling systems that scale. Each drop is tested to TIA-568 standards and includes a 90-day workmanship warranty. We also run coaxial (RG6) alongside Cat6 for areas that need both cable TV and data drops at the same wall plate.

Home Theater & TV Mounting

From a single TV above a fireplace to a dedicated 4K home theater room — we handle every wire, every power outlet, and every mount.

TV Mounting & Display Installation

We mount flat-panel TVs of any size — 55″, 65″, 75″, 85″, and beyond — on drywall, concrete block, brick, and tile. We use heavy-duty commercial-grade mounts rated far beyond the display weight, and we route all cables (HDMI, power, data) invisibly through the wall or inside a surface-mount raceway that matches your wall color. No dangling cords. No exposed cables. Just a clean floating display.

  • Full-motion, tilt, and fixed mounts available
  • In-wall power kit + HDMI routing
  • Above-fireplace mounting specialists
  • Outdoor & lanai display mounting

Dedicated Home Theater Rooms

A purpose-built home theater requires more than a big TV. We wire dedicated 20-amp circuits for your AV receiver and projector, run HDMI and speaker wiring through conduit or inside walls, position in-ceiling and in-wall speaker rough-in exactly where your system calls for, and install the power conditioning outlet strips that protect your investment. We work from your system plan or help design one.

  • Dedicated 20A circuit for AV equipment
  • 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos speaker rough-in
  • 4K HDMI routing & projector power
  • Rack equipment power & ventilation

Whole-Home Audio Systems

Play music in every room — simultaneously or independently — with a professionally installed whole-home audio system. We rough in in-wall and in-ceiling speakers throughout your home, run speaker wiring to a central amplifier location, and integrate with Sonos, Nuvo, and Control4 systems. Outdoor lanai, pool deck, and landscape speaker wiring is weather-rated and properly buried to Florida code.

  • In-ceiling & in-wall speaker rough-in
  • Sonos, Nuvo, Control4 compatible
  • Outdoor pool & lanai speaker wiring
  • Multi-zone amplifier & volume control

Security, Camera & Doorbell Wiring

Security Camera Rough-In

Cat6 and conduit rough-in for hardwired IP security cameras at every corner, entry point, driveway, and coverage zone you specify. We position the rough-in boxes and pull cable to your NVR or camera panel location — so your camera installer or DIY system drops into a clean, professional infrastructure.

Video Doorbell & Intercom Wiring

Install or upgrade a traditional doorbell, Ring, Nest, or Arlo video doorbell. Many video doorbells require a properly sized 16–24VAC transformer — we ensure compatibility, correct transformer sizing, and chime compatibility. We also wire gate intercom systems for communities with gated entries.

Smart Lock & Access Control

Low voltage power and data runs for access control systems, smart locks, and keypad entry systems. We wire 12V and 24V power supplies, magnetic locks, electric strikes, and door controllers — commonly used in home offices, garage entries, and multi-unit buildings.

Low Voltage Landscape Lighting

12V landscape lighting systems for pathways, garden beds, palm uplighting, pool decks, and architectural features. We install the low voltage transformer, bury and route the cable, and position fixtures throughout your property. Systems are designed for Southwest Florida’s heat, humidity, and salt air — with UV-rated cable and corrosion-resistant fixtures.

Low Voltage & Smart Home FAQs

What’s the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A, and which do I need?
Cat6 supports up to 1 Gigabit speeds at runs up to 328 feet — sufficient for most home networks today. Cat6A supports 10 Gigabit speeds and offers better noise immunity over the same distance. For new construction or major remodels where the walls will be open, we recommend Cat6A — the marginal cost difference is small, and it future-proofs your home for decades. For retrofit installations where pulling cable is difficult, standard Cat6 is typically the practical choice.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace and conceal all the cables?
Yes — we mount TVs above fireplaces regularly in Cape Coral and Fort Myers homes. We install an in-wall power kit (UL listed for in-wall use) and route your HDMI and other low voltage cables through the wall cavity from the TV location down to your entertainment center or AV rack. The result is a clean floating display with nothing visible. We also assess heat and viewing angle before recommending above-fireplace placement — some fireplace surround configurations make alternative locations a better choice ergonomically.
Do I need a permit for low voltage wiring in Florida?
In Florida, most low voltage wiring (Cat6, speaker wire, coax, low voltage landscape lighting) does not require a separate permit when performed by a licensed electrical contractor as part of an electrical project. However, structured cabling for commercial buildings and some security system installations may require permits. We advise on permit requirements specific to your project during the free estimate visit.
What wireless mesh system do you recommend for Southwest Florida homes?
For most residential clients, Eero Pro 6E hardwired via Cat6 provides excellent performance and the simplest management interface. For clients who want more control or manage multiple properties, Ubiquiti UniFi delivers enterprise-grade performance with detailed traffic visibility. For very large homes or estates, a combination of a UniFi Dream Router with multiple access points hardwired throughout provides the most consistent coverage. We design the system based on your home’s square footage, floor plan, and usage needs.
Can you work alongside our custom home builder or AV integrator?
Absolutely — we regularly coordinate with custom home builders and AV integrators throughout Southwest Florida on new construction and major renovation projects. We handle all of the rough-in (power, Cat6, speaker wire, conduit) during the framing stage, and the AV integrator handles equipment installation and programming after drywall. Having one electrical contractor for both power and low voltage rough-in reduces coordination issues and keeps your project on schedule.
Can you install a Lutron system in my existing home, or is it only for new construction?
Lutron Caseta and RadioRA Select can be installed in most existing homes with minimal disruption — they work with your existing wiring and typically don’t require a neutral wire at each switch location. Full Lutron HomeWorks QS installations in existing homes require running new low voltage wire from each switch location back to a central processor, which we can do through attic access and wall penetrations. We assess the feasibility during a free on-site consultation and give you an honest picture of what the installation involves before any commitment is made.
