AC Surge Protector (DITEK Kool Guard 2) in Cape Coral

We installed a DITEK DTK-KG2 Kool Guard 2 surge protector on an existing outdoor air conditioner at a home in Cape Coral, close to Del Prado.

• Mounted the Kool Guard 2 beside the existing AC disconnect.
• Connected it with flexible conduit.

What the Kool Guard 2 protects against

The Kool Guard 2 is built for air-conditioning equipment. It protects the outdoor condensing unit against power surges, overvoltage and undervoltage, which makes it a premium level of protection for the most expensive appliance on the electric bill. Why protect the condenser
