Cape Coral is still growing, and many new homes combine concrete block walls with wood framing and roof trusses. That mix decides how the wiring goes in: boxes set into block with foam, cables strapped along furring strips, and bundles run up studs to the trusses.
We work from the builder’s plans, and permits and inspections run through the City of Cape Coral.
We are wiring a new home of about 1,850 square feet in Cape Coral right now. The rough-in photos show cables run through the framing and secured to studs and blocking, bundles tie-wrapped up to the trusses, multi-gang boxes in the wood walls, and device boxes in the block walls with a foam-filled horizontal chase. Everything you see will be behind drywall and stucco, so it has to be right the first time. The project is still in progress; see the project page for the photos.
Yes. We take builder plans, run the rough-in and trim, and handle the permit and inspection side of the electrical scope. For homeowners, the same crew does rewires, added circuits and remodel wiring.
New wiring is inspected in stages by the City’s Building Division, and each stage is requested through the City’s system. The rough-in inspection comes before the walls close, which is why the cables, boxes and foam-set block-wall boxes in our project photos have to be right before drywall goes up.
