We install Tesla Wall Connectors and every other brand and type of EV charger in Bonita Springs, at homes and at commercial properties. In the Quail West community, where we have completed many jobs, we installed two Tesla chargers side by side in a home with a 600-amp electrical service, so both can run at once.
Permits for the work go through the City of Bonita Springs Community Development Department, and we handle the permit paperwork.
An EV charger is a continuous load, so the National Electrical Code requires the circuit conductors to be sized at 125 percent of the charger load. On the Quail West job we ran a number 4 SEU cable to each charger for that reason, so each charger can charge at its best even with two running.

On the same job we ran wiring for an exterior disconnect and left a whip at it for the air conditioning contractor to use when they install a mini split. We do this as standard practice on mini split work. See our mini split circuit page.
Electrical work in Bonita Springs goes through the City’s Community Development Department at 9220 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 111, (239) 444-6150. The City’s online Permit Portal accepts trade mechanical permits, and other permit types are submitted in person or by email. We prepare and submit the paperwork and bring the job to its final inspection. Florida currently enforces the 2020 National Electrical Code through the 8th Edition (2023) Florida Building Code.
